Semana 6 y 1/2: La farmacéutica que todo lo sabe / The know-it-all pharmacist

Unos 10 días después de ir a comprar mi "prueba de embarazo", volví a la farmacia. No se me ocurrió que la farmacéutica se acordara de mí hasta que quedé frente a frente. Pedí ácido fólico y paracetamol (para los que no conozcan sobre el tema, ese es como el combo de embarazo). Ahí fue cuando me di cuenta que ella podía estar atando cabos en su cabecita de farmacéutica que todo lo sabe.

Confirmó mis sospechas cuando me preguntó con una cara excesivamente sugerente "¿Qué tal el verano...?".  Yo le contesté "Muy bien" y evité tocarme la panza pero le sonreí con una sonrisa de madre primeriza compinche (está en proceso de desarrollo, así que puede ir variando). Creo que nos entendimos. Me gustaría saber qué cara pone si la semana que viene vuelvo y compro preservativos.

About 10 days after I bought my pregnancy test, I went back to the drugstore. It hadn't occurred to me that the pharmacist might remember me until I was in front of her. I asked for folic acid and paracetamol (for those unaware of the subject, it's like the pregnancy combo). That's when I realized that she might be tying up loose ends in her pharmaceutical head that knows it all.

She confirmed my suspicions when she asked with an excessively suggestive face "How's summer...?". I answered "Very good" and I avoiding touching my belly but I smiled a first-time mom buddy smile (it's being developed, so it might change). I think we understood each other. I would like to know what faces she puts on if next week I come back and buy condoms.
